Break
I smile at you and your eyes, simple and demure you don't notice the flames of longing, that beg for more with effortless agony and pleading laughs I watch from a wary point frozen by thoughts where souls adjoin silent hearts falling in waves uncertainty, fear; unknowing change giving birth to life and love with no direction that uproots and overthrows a field of flowers set in a row. Alone is the price you pay- for being Alive Alone. And now, I am calling your name in a world without you there is no love. Imagine as if eating perfumed oleanders as if ghosts on the backs of birds becoming a metaphor I can't hold and the fires in me without pause or remorse become a sword you tear down my fortress and I open your gate our edges like crashing tides- devouring mouths find each other in feverish hungry strides. A tangle of desperate souls unveiled in the light lighting fires at night the pain now; swallowed whole. Wings with no feathers a luring ballad of bitter sweet it lingers on my tongue long after I concede Escape. No there is freedom from the cage made of skin and blood the mind wanders and cascades in lands of distant touch. Alive I Am ...Now go Back (Read in reverse) |
